A big thank you to the Municipal Administration of Settimo Milanese for promoting the Guaranteed Mobility Project, in collaboration with P.M.G. Italia SpA. The community got two vehicles for social welfare transport on a free loan basis for two years (automatically renewable under the same conditions): this is a great result! The Guaranteed Mobility Project has been supported since 2009 by the citizenship, with ethical commitment and social responsibility from numerous local companies. Thanks to this contribution, Municipality of Settimo Milanese can meet many transport requests, for elderly and disabled people in the area, without substantially increasing their own budget.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are happy to contribute to the call launched by Mayor Mr. Fabio Rubagotti and Deputy Mayor Mrs. Sara Santagostino,\u201d said Maria Teresa Brassiolo, Vice President and Co-founder of BIOPAP Srl Societ\u00e0 Benefit. \u201cThis enabled us to provide a 5-seater van equipped with a lift for transporting a wheelchair, and a 5-seater car for simple transport. These transports will also be provided in collaboration with the local voluntary and charity associations Auser and Caritas \u2013 Carit\u00e0 Cultura Missione.<\/p>\n

\u201cLocal companies can commit themselves to the community, and it is important for local authorities to show a spirit of involvement. Seeking synergies and finding opportunities for cooperation between companies and institutions strengthens the sense of belonging and encourages active participation. It is positive to feel an active part inside a community,\u201d concluded Maria Teresa Brassiolo.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony was held on Thursday, 25 September 2025, at 5.30 p.m. in the courtyard of the City Hall in Piazza degli Eroi, 5.<\/p>\n
