The October 20th edition gave the stage to Michelangelo Anderlini, President of BIOPAP® S.r.l. Benefit Company, on BIOPAP’s sustainable approach and on the principles that have guided its development and the start-up of the new 0-emissions production plant.
We want to report some very thoughtful comments from those who have had the opportunity to listen to it:
√ appreciation for a strategic approach to sustainability, where the purpose is clear superior; what actually goes beyond one’s own interest.
√ Michelangelo’s intervention recalls the passion of the late Giuseppe Anderlini, co-founder of BIOPAP® who, with targeted ideas and documents, already over 15 years ago, raised awareness among interlocutors of the problem of plastic pollution in the environment and in the seas;
√ strong attention to the systemic approach, which takes all sustainability constraints into consideration, from energy issues to safety, from water consumption to
land use;
√ adoption of recognized certification systems, which guarantee the origin, the product traceability and quality;
√ attention to nature which teaches us that every system can guarantee itself self-sufficiency and must be able to regenerate;
√ understanding corporate choices that transcend interests and individuals stakeholders.
