Organic catering in Germany and Austria go for BIOPAP® biodegradable food trays

Biodegradable and compostable BIOPAP® food trays successful on the German and Austrian organic catering market.

The leading catering company HOFMANN MENUE MANUFAKTUR completely renewed its Organic meals choosing BIOPAP® gastronorm compostable trays.

The main reasons for this choice: renewability, innovation, functionality, easy disposal of the trays.

A project with significant impact both from the environmental and the visual point of view: the traditional aluminium trays have been replaced by innovative and nicely printed compostable BIOPAP® food trays. The Cook and Chill system makes extensive use of the extreme features of BIOPAP® food trays from -40°C of the deep freezing to the +145°C of the warming-up.

BIOPAP® compostable food trays are made from renewable european raw materials. They are disposed together with food wastes directly into composting plants, coming back to agriculture. A perfect example of circular economy.

SANA 2016. BIOPAP® compostable trays preferred for celiac diseases

Strong success at SANA 2016. BIOPAP® biodegradable food trays have been the preferred choice for celiac frozen ready-made meals. The growth of allergies and a stronger attention to the supply chain of food containers by consumers have boosted BIOPAP® biodegradable trays applications to the natural food market. BIOPAP® biodegradable disposable food containers are natural and renewable with a fully European supply chain. They are also the first choice for organic ready-made meals, for vegetarian and vegan food preparations and for macrobiotic and natural catering embracing the same philosophy. Once more, the versatility of BIOPAP® dual-ovenable, compostable catering trays are helping producers to give value to the food they produce, taking good care of the environment.
